Little Baby

Little baby Lying in her mother’s arms

Mamma keeps baby warm and away from harm

Daddy’s working for more pay

Doesn’t want to be so grey

Just in case his lover she leaves her man today.

What’ll I do for you?

What’ll I do for you?

Daddy’s sitting picking at a plate of food

Mamma wants to leave if only she could now

Soon the tempers start to fly

Blood is coming from mamma’s eye

Tell me why they do not hear their baby cry

What’ll I do for you?

What’ll I do for you?

One-day baby wakes and her daddy’s gone

Mamma sitting listening to her saddest song now

Said she’s felling safe at night

Hides her face keeps it out of sight

Tell me why she cry’s if every things all right?

Tell me why now tell me why she cry’s if everything all right

Tell me why she’s crying now

What’ll I do for you?

What’ll I do for you?
